Board Agents

The Board appoints Board Agents as necessary to carry out the provisions of NRS 631 and NAC 631 to support the Board’s regulatory and consumer protection responsibilities.

Board Agents serve in the following roles:

Anesthesia Evaluators- Observe anesthesia administration at approved sites and evaluate compliance with applicable requirements to ensure patient safety and consumer protection.

Preliminary Screening Consultants- Review patient-filed complaints to determine whether the applicable standards of care may have been violated.

Infection Control Inspectors- Inspect dental facilities for sanitation practices and infection control compliance to protect public health.

Review Panel Members- Conduct peer review of patient-filed complaints and Preliminary Screening Consultant reports to determine whether standards of care may have been violated.
